Olive Garden, San Diego

My husband and I went in here around 12:30, was seated after about 5 mins. or so and waited for our waiter. He finally showed up...we ordered the lunch special which was unlimited soup, salad, and the new calzone lunch special. The service was horrible. Our waiter said he would be right back with our soup and salad and after about 15 to 20 minutes he came back with a salad and apologized that the soup was not ready, that he had been waiting for the soup and hopefully, any minute, it would be ready. Are you kidding me??? Once he brought my soup, the calzones arrived at the same time and never once were we offered more salad or soup. The food was ok but the whole experience was ruined by the service. We won t be back. I would have hated to be on a lunch hour where I spent most of my time waiting for my lunch. Unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks??? Not today!

Decent ambience,decent menu for vegeterians too,decent price,v.good service,worth a visit if the tummy cries Italiano!!! oh yes,make sure u make a reservation on holidays and public occasions.

I have to say we have always gotten great service when we eat here! The food is always hot and the breadsticks neverending!

I lOVE IT! The food never disappoints and the service is great. Try avoiding the lines by eating here Mon-Thurs. My favorite is the Tuscan soup and the alfredo pizza....yummmmy!

I'd eat at the Olive Garden even if I wasn't hungry. Great place to eat and good food. Anything I've ordered there was great.The Olive Garden has exellent service with pleasant employees.I can't wait to eat there again. I'd recommed the Olive Garden to everyone.
