Worst delivery service I have ever experienced. Attitude Stinks. ordered food for employees working late and had to deal with a complete well I can't use the word here. Food may be good but the attitude of the delivery people and management stink. Hope the Chef takes more pride than the management or delivery people. Two thumbs down.

although the service is so-so and the place is a little crowded, the food is what brings us back. the garlic cream sauce over joy's tortelloni makes my boyfriend dream of lorna's when he's home in LA. i could almost make a meal of the perfectly warm baked bread, but i enjoy the dishes just the same. large portions, great taste, and reasonable pricing, even for a college budget!

Our family has been dining at Lorna's for years and it is always a pleasure to return. The menu is varied and you will find items that appeal to all tastes, young and old. Servings are generous and very tastey! Don't expect much in the way of atmosphere, but you can expect prompt service and happy people. Great place to take the entire family. I discovered Lorna's about 4 months ago and have eaten there around 6 times since. I love, love, love it! The seafood pasta is amazing, portions are huge, and the bread is crusty on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The food is in my opinion better than many Italian restaurants twice as expensive. Warning: the food isn't low fat, but hey, olive oil is good for you! The only bad thing about this restaurant is its location in a strip mall--but the amazing food more than makes up for that!

For what it is, it is the best thing out there. It might just be a little hole in the wall but for the value of price and portion there is nothing else that can compare. You may have heard a lot of comments about the pizza. It is very good but i would recomend a calzone or linguine clams. A favorite in my book. If you want some over rated, very expensive, and small portion items Lorna's is NOT the place for you. Come to Lorna's and experience the best of San Diego mom and pop italian food.

Lorna's is the perfect place for dinner with a group of friends or with family. The best Italian Food I've ever had and I work at the Olive Garden!

Love, love, love this place and the food and BTW, I m Italian. Celebrated our anniversary quietly sitting outside watching the Blue Angels fly over. The wait staff is professional and efficient and the patio furniture is very nice with tablecloth and heaters for winter dining! Very nice! I don t know why these other reviews aren t good, but we ve been eating at Lorna s for 10 years and I always have a pleasant experience! Sometimes people are just waiting for an excuse to slam a restaurant. If you don t like it, don t go back. There are plenty of loyal customers that will take your table!

The portions are good for sharing, and the specials are always good. For starters, the Italian Chopped Salad is one of our favorites. Daily specials are always changing. Try the tortellini. Yum!
