We've been there innumerable times

My wife and I have dined at Cafe Luna more times than I can remember. Our waitress greeted us by name and we were always treated like royalty. Located next door to an Irish pub in strip mall across from Carl's Jr., don't let the surroundings discourage you from sampling this outstanding little restaurant, that is also open for lunch, but not every day, so call to make sure they're open. The furnishings are contemporary, cast iron type, but the seats are padded and comfortable. The room itself has a black ceiling with faux marble painting on the wall and distressed stamped concrete flooring. The decor is very tasteful and upscale with a massive fresh flower arrangement that greets you when you walk in the door. We usually go during lunch and for dinner, reservations are almost mandatory. Whatever you order, be sure to try their Fucilli Umbriaco pasta with as creamy, tomato based vodka sauce. that is to die for. Even though we moved out of the area, my wife and I still make our way back to Cafe Luna, which remains our favorite Italian dining spot in Southern California.
