Costa Azul, Coronado

Sorry to say this was the most disappointing meal on our vacation. The Baja shrimp cocktail was mostly lime juice and diced tomatoes. The shrimp was diced so tiny that it was hard to find among the onions and tomatoes. It was overpowered by the lime. I like the taste of shrimp. The lobster burritto sounded so good. But the lobster was also overpowered by the sauce. I got the three advertised sauces on the side, but when I cut into the burrito a full cup of enchilada sauce spilled out. The flavor of the lobster was completely lost in the spicy, tomato-y sauce. My husband's fish and chips were ok.

I used to live right in Coronado CA. So i've been to all the restaraunts and know where to go and not go. Costa Azul may not have the best wait staff always there but they do try. And the atmosphere is AMAZING!!! You are right in the middle of town and its always busy and fun!!!

First , we were seated at a wobbly table they could not fix, the Manager did not want to move us with 3 tables in eye site available. The waitress acted like she was doing us a favor to wait on us. The Queso Fundido was good. The Marinated Fajitas could have marinated a few more hours.!!! Tough was an understatement. Never seen such tough Fajitas. The Tostada Grande was good. Overall, we will look for other Restaurants, as there are many to choose from.

We ordered the taco salad and we left hungry. The swordfish tacos were very good. The service was excellent. The ambiance was not very nice. We would not go back.

Good place to hang on a busy part of Coronado. Food and service are average.

The last time I ate there the service was terriable! The waitress never checked on the drinks to refill and the food wasn't that great!

Had a great time as we sat at the bar and were welcomed by the bartender CHRIS. Ate HH munchies and they were quite good so much so we came back the following day. Snapped a picture of the front of the place with the name and now I use it as my screen saver on my computer at work. Ah take me away and serve me a cold one. Thanks Chris.

really great food for the $. Nice place to bring a date OR the family. (go figure huh?) nice location for a stroll after dinner down Main street USA. Just Go
