Description

As the name Dumpling Inn suggests, dumplings are the specialty at this small Chinese eatery nestled in the lair of Asian restaurants that is Convoy Street. Choose from a variety of pork, seafood or vegetarian dumplings, all homemade. The menu also offers noodles, rice, and a small selection of stir-fry dishes. If you need to cater for a party, the restaurant also sells uncooked dumplings by the dozen though advanced order is required.

This used to be a great restaurant! The last time I was there the food was not very good. I hate to say this because this used to be a favorite place to go and I always recommended it to friends. I started to get complaints from friends that they thought the quality of the food had gone downhill. The prices have gone up and the food is not what it used to be. The people have always been very nice; no complaints there.

Great little hole in the wall on Convoy St in San Diego. I read many reviews about this place and I found there food to be very good. I recommend the Shrimp and Chive dumplings along with the Pot Stickers. Overall both were great. Check this place out for some great dumplings.

I go for the pot stickers. I like them very much. I also get an order of Kung Pao Chicken - best in town.

Only one of the best; wish they were bigger, but I will wait in line any day for my homemade noodles!!! They are THAT GOOD!!

Their dumplings are good except the pot sticker. i personally think its boarding and the skin is too thick. Their spicy 3 ingredients stir fried noodle is very good, and their beef shrink noodle soup. That's all I order every time for the past 6 years.

Got an Orange Chicken and Pork Fried Rice for $21.00 and enjoyed it. Definitely the best Chinese food I've had off the East Coast. I would say food is around a 16 from my limited tasting. Place was packed on a Wednesday at 7 but take-out was ready in 8 minutes.

Its all about the food. Dumplings are awesome, try the chinese greens, and the chow mein is perfect. Its worth the wait, but go early to beat the crowds
