My friends and I absolutely LOVE this place. We go at least once a week! Their monthly specials are always a bonus, and their rolls are an amazing price. My favorite rolls that I always order are the lion king roll and the crunchy roll. The calamari appetizer and edemame are wonderful to start with and they're so cheap! The service is fast and they're always there for more refills or requests. Definitely try this place if you are on a budget and need a quick sushi fix!

Yummy! The food here is incredible and cheap. I personally love the vegetarian soup (which is basically and udon soup for 2). It does get a little crowded on Saturdays, which is why you should probably come on a Monday.

Getting to be a regular visit for me love the place and food and service As for the yuppies complaining stay in la jolla and pay three times as much, you deserve it.

Great price on sushi! Some reviewers have complained about the service, but we were treated just fine. NOTE: It's different in the fact that you order and pay first and then you sit down to a table when they call you. Maybe that's why they hated the service. This place gets busy! I had the Crunchy roll with some very good spicy sauce and great quality seaweed (it showed no resistance to biting--like it wasn't even there, which indicates freshness). It isn't the greatest sushi you'll ever have in your whole life, but for San Diego and for its price it's worth stopping in.

The only sushi place I will ever go to in San Diego. Ive been going there since the age of 12 and have been there ever since. Great prices,great quality and great service. Make sure you get there a bit early because EVERYONE loves this place.
