Filippi's Pizza Grotto, San Diego

Have been going to Filippi's since I was a teenager. I have many fond memories of this place until recently. Having not been there in a while, my wife and ordered a pepperoni pizza and found the pizza crest to be overbaked. When I complained to the waitress, she told me since we had (2) slices already, they couldn't do anything. I told her, yes we had (2) slices because this was our first serving and we didn't even eat half of it. You would think, PR would take precedence for a customer that had been going there for years. Too bad that doesn't play in today's society. I won't be going there anymore. Adios mi amigo's.

This place is bad. I did not have the pizza, I had the lasanga and it was bland and boring. I would not recommend this place at all.

Flippin' Awesome! This is the Best Pizza I Have EVER Had in my Life. Really... EVER!!!

I've been going here for 20+ years. Best pizza in town. Dough has a bit of wine taste - Fabulous. Nice people. A little hard to park. Get there a bit early.

If you like east coast pizza I would not recommend this restaurant. I'm from NJ and this was probably the worst pizza I have had out here. I hate to say it but I have had frozen pizza that was better.
