The service was extreemly poor. The food for the most part was tastless and ordinary.
The salad was swimming in water. If you like a place full of Gays just looking to be seen this is your place as for me, and I am Gay I want a much better value for my hard earned money.
minus three atars as far as our party was concerned.
Great, upscale diner food... especially great for breakfast/brunch... try the benedicts or the tasty scrambles.
Burgers, fries, teriyaki chicken, salads, quesadillas, are all especially good too.
Friendly staff, great value.
As a local I go here quite often. It's literally walkimg distance from my friends house and after a late night of clubbing it's a good place to go. I just wish that they had their late night hours every night instead of only the weekends.
Used to go to this place when it was Topseys and was alittle leary about going there after the change of ownership but after checking it out i love this place it still great food and excellent prices and very large portions!!...I am always hitting Brians everytime i am in the area
fine location, near hillcrest, with many clubs for partying and entertaining. Formerly a 'comfort food' eatery brian's has a nice menu and reasonable prices with many specials. Service seems slow, disorganized and like a student chasing that eleusive confidence and application of what they learned, at restaurant school. Both at breakfast and supper, andf late nught, the staff was forgetful, and confused. Having to walk a doazen feet to a waitress, puzzling over a menu and ask for a refresh on coffee and she brings luke warm, decafe, twice when you specifically asked for regular. Food was deliious but had to ask for a reheat, before eating. Just too slow and confused to make it a place to tell your friends about a secret find.
Huge portions, great service and a patio where you can smoke!!!! The soups are great and the croissant with egg, asparagus, mushroom and ham topped with hollandaise sauce is to die for. My husband loves their burgers and the daily dinner specials are wonderful. The taco salad is huge and delicious and the prime rib is tender and moist. This is down home, good food that will leave you full and wanting to come back again and again.
We loved everything! The new location in the gas lamp district is wonderful! The bar is great and the huge tables are great for large parties! We can't wait to go back with all our family. We went during the holidays and it was decorated gorgeous. We were told it was Tino'ized? I came home and tried to copy it in my own house.
