Sams Place, Solana Beach

I know it doesn't look like a 5-star restaurant from the outside, but let me tell you, their food is amazing! I ordered grape leaves as an appetizer and they were absolutely incredible (served warm, which is something I'm not used to, but it actually brought out more of the flavor). I also ordered their gyro greek salad and the meat was flavorful and fresh and the salad dressing was--HANDS DOW--the best greek dressing I've ever had. I'm salivating at the thought of it.
