The original restaurant was born in Florence in 1978, on Via dell'acqua, right next to the oldest museum of the world. The idea is to give an alternative to the traditional cooking. The passion for the creative Toscan cuisine using the finest and freshest ingredients, makes this one of the most loved restaurants in Florence. Do not go to this restaurant if you are thirsty. The bill included a surprise, no free refills on iced tea. This is not mentioned on the menu or by the waiter, just a surprise waiting for you when you go to pay the bill. When it was suggested to the manager that they should let the customer know there are no free refills, the manager could not care less. The food is okay, might have tasted better if it were cheaper. Service was not great either. The place was very small and we felt we were in the way, as the waiter was forced to squeeze by to serve the other guests.
