Moose McGillycuddy's - Gaslamp, San Diego

The restaurant was dark. Waitresses catered to other employees with their gab and did not attend to the customers. Bar tender was adequate but spent too much time gabbing with waitresses. Food, drinks and pricing was adequate. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Too loud, smart alec waitress, average food, watered down drinks. I was expecting more from what I had read. Won't be coming back. Waitresses should be polite and don't try to be funny. It didn't work. Took too long for food and drinks.

Good spot to me cool peps and get your drink on

We love going out for a few drinks now and then...and this is one of our faves! The drinks are great, the appetizers are yummy and the setting is fun. They aren't skimpy on the alcohol either!

The bartender was great! Guiness is always good (but bartender must understand the importance and pouring techniques for this specific beverage). I had 3 drinks excellent calamari frito and the tab was $11 dollars. Happy Hour! you just can't go wrong with this Man! I could do that everyday! Cheers!

The only thing that I liked about this visit, was that we parked a few blocks away for $5. The waitress was rude with her smart-ass little comments, it took forever to get our drinks and food. We had no napkins or silverware, when she did check back with us and we told her, it took awhile to get the stuff. The food was okay, not the best. We have been in Moose's before on the weekends for drinks and dancing and had a blast. I am just not happy with the waitress we had or the service.

The Moose is a great place to be in the gaslamp qaurters in SD with a bunch of friends or for singles. It's always live and full of great people with great drinks and great music. Always a pleasent experience at the Moose

The food was excellent for the most part. They have the best potato skins in San Diego, however their buffalo chicken fingers couldn't even rival the ones I make at home. They seated us in the bar, (the ONLY table in the bar) and I wish we could have actually seent he restaurant. However, they were nice about us asking to close the windows because the smokers on the patio were literally on the other side of the wall. I wish I would have gotten the French Dip sandwich, because it looked much better than my chicken. Out of six of us there, everyone loved their food, and we all left happy.
