Piatti - La Jolla, La Jolla

The courtyard of this restaurant is very pretty. A great place for a romantic night, beautiful ambiance, very decent service and menu which was not overly priced.

We have been going here for years. It is great for any occasion -- meeting friends, my mother-in-law's 90th birthday, a romantic dinner for two, you name it. The service has always been fabulous and the food is wonderful. Don't be afraid to try the patio.

We were a group of 8 and we all loved it. Very good food and service. We sat on the patio, and it was very nice. We were travelling and meeting friends and had an 18 month-old with us and it was no problem either (she is well-behaved).

Piatti is a great place to be at. The food is always great. The only thing i dont enjoy about this place is that it's ALWAYS busy which means it's very noisy. If you plan to come to this place make sure to make a reservation a day in advance

The Restuarant was a little hard for me to find, but once I got there I knew it was worth the wait. We were about 3 minutes late to the Restuarante but once we got in all i had to do was say my name and i was seated imediatly all ready for me. We went here for me and my girlfriend's 4 month anniversaty. It was very clean and very well decorated I was feeling a Venis Italy vibe at least that what I felt it was like. After being seated we were serviced emediatly. We asked what he recomended for and appitiser. He was very well informed on every thing and not more than a minute after we ordered the appitiser was on the table i was amazed. Seriosly that was the fastest I had ever been served an appitiser before and i think thats the way it sould be. Oh and before we ordered the food we had some sort of toasted bread with a signature dipping dish that was excelent i really loved that. Once we got our food which was very soon after the appitiser was off the table. My Girlfriend Jessica Said it was undoubtably the best Italian Food That She has Ever Had I'm More hesatant to say such things but thinking back no other Italian Restuarant that i have eating at has not come even close to the taste of that food I Had a spaghetti type pasta with chicken and increadable seasoning I wish i could pronounse the name of the dish but it was much better than I had Exspected and Very Reasonably priced my dish and Jessica's was around 15 for the plate. I would have payed douple for a dish like that, and be well satisfied. It's been Two Days senses we went there to the one in La Jolla and i can't wait to go back it was well worth the drive i came from Murrieta, Temecula, Area.
