The service is very poor, I have went to the restaurant a couple of different times. One time my waitress kept passing me by, I wanted a refill of my drink. I kept trying to get her attention. Finally a hostess finally refill my drink. That was when I was all done with my meal. My steaks was over cook and the drinks are too pricey.
Having been disappointed in the past with very poor service, we decided to give this place one more chance. When we arrived, it was not very busy due to the hour. The floors were extremely dirty with food that had obviously not been swept up all day. The service was OK. The food was very disappointing. We had a beef taco that was almost inedible and a cheese crisp that was fried in old oil. We were unable to finish. The chips and salsa were very good, though.
This place was highly reccommended for Southwestern Food, so off we went.
I rated this only two stars (probably one star too many) because the value I felt is poor, the Ambiance is also poor, the food is overpriced, the service is far less than average and my beer was not served cold!.
This is not Southwestern Food. No Prickly Pear Margaritas, Chile Verde, Cactus Fries, Green Chile Stew, Rice Pudding and no Homemade Tortillas.
This was not small town cozy, but small town roughing it. The food served was over-priced ($10 burrito) and bland. I tried to wash it down with my beer, but they served me one that was not cold! But in all fairness I was not forced to eat off the table.
The salsa was served an a very small bowl and had a medocre mild flavor to it and the chips leave a lot to be desired.
The waitress was not friendly and could care a less about us.
I like my beer cold! There is no excuse for serving beer that is not cold. I complained and the waitress could have cared less, but not much.
My wife's Strawberry Margarita was disappointingly flavorless at best.
The grilled beef and chicken in the various dishes have flavors. The Mexican rice was ok, but, the one two punch is denied because the beans are so mediocre.
The fish taco was the best thing we shared. A 3X5 fillet of a broiled flackey fish on a slightly larger tortilla.
We ate, got our check and got out.
The food is pretty good and the service is not bad provided you dont get served by the pretty bi polar waitress! One minute she is the sweetest thing I have ever had the pleasure of talking to but boy dont dare ask for another beer or glass of water or you may find your tires flat! ll in all I would say if your really hungry and dont mind a little bump on the head or a verbal lashing stop on by,
