Description

Providing large portions, low prices and a casual atmosphere, this spot is frequently crowded with families. It is the ideal restaurant for all because the menu items are relatively mild and the atmosphere is casual. The interior is composed of one large room with numerous tables, a bit of commotion and a bright decor with traditional Italian music playing in the background. Italian specialties cover the menu. Fried Calamari and Linguine with Clams are two popular choices.

Excellent food and service! The friendliness of the staff compliments the delicious meals. I love their selection of wine. A great place for a romantic date.

Always great food, always great service!! Some of the best italian food! Great place for a night out too. Always very upscale and nice service. Great overall!!!

I just Had dinner tonight with my family and wanted to say thank you for making our eveing our father had a wonderfull dinner and it made our eveing we were 1st time costomers and we will becoming back for life the host was wonderful and the waiters were all so kind thank you for treating us so wonderfuly

All I can say, the service and food is to die for. I love that they will cook anything to order. We look forward to the knots, and bread. The food is tasty and worth every penny. The portions are a good size. Always walk out with a doggy bag. Dominic greets you with a smile that warms your heart.

We stopped at Dominic's as we visitied the area, there were 6 of us. The place is clean and family like. The service and the food are 50/50. The minestrone soup was cold and nothing but chiken broth and Celery!!! I would not call that Italian. Just my 2 cents. Would not recommend it.

The place is nice family restaurant. The food is ok for the money but falls far short from Authentic. This is what I call Mexican Italian.

My friends, family and I have been treating ourselves to this friendly, authentic, relaxed Italian eatery for MANY years. They staff has a very low turnover because we have been seeing many of the same employees year after year. The food is awesome and the garlic dough balls just before a meal are the best! We will continue to go back as we do every visit to San Diego (and we live in Idaho now).

I have always had excellent food and service at Dominic's. The specials are great with a nice family atmosphere. It is very busy during the week around lunch time with regular patrons. The free basket of garlic balls are the best!

My family has been going here for three years now and enjoy more every time! food is great, Service is great on a slow night and ok on a busy nice. However, they are very accommodating if you request you dish prepared slightly different. I can't wait to go back. Kids also love it b/c they will give them raw pizza dough to play with while you wait for dinner. Also, they have a great 2 for 1 coupon in the local Poway paper!
