Absolutely wonderful! Service, food, atmosphere - all were excellent! On a 5 day vacation in La Jolla, we went back a second time and took 3 family members with us. Excellent Happy Hour food and drink menus, as well.
Went to Azul with friends last Friday night. I don't think I've ever seen a better view of the coast! The service and the food were great. The service was attentive, but not overbearing and the portions were good and the food was prepared just as ordered. The wine selection was excellent. If you've got a special occasion this is the spot!
Absolutely an incredible view......food was good, service was excellent. Leans on the pricey side.....but if you want a nice meal with a great San Deigo view......go mid-week and make reservations, you'll get a nice table close to the windows and will love it.
Azul is definately on the pricey side, but everything we ordered was simply amazing. The menu changes regularly, but we enjoyed the Lobster Pot Pie as an appetizer and the beef tenderloin was spectacular. The view out into the bay/ocean was great and we sat there for a beautiful sunset. (only bummer is that the restaurant faces north, so you can only really catch the sunset out of the corner of your eye. Also, there is a seperate Tapas menu out on the outdoor patio that we didn't try.
