Worst service ever!!! The owner/waitress is rude and has no clue about social manners. We went in for lunch for a party of 5 and were the only ones in the restaurant, yet the waitress/owner was rudely insistent we sit in a booth and not at the table we asked for to accomodate our group. Again, we were the only customers in the old, dirty restaurant yet she was irritated we were asking for a large table for 6 instead of a booth for 4!! She then proceeded to bring us our drinks and all the drinks tasted like chlorine yet the waitress would not replace our drinks or give us a refill without charging extra. She then got into a fight in the kitchen with the cook and we heard her screaming loudly in chinese for 5 minutes and you could hear pans and dishes being thrown which none of us could believe was actually happening while sitting in the restaurant. Finally, when our food came, the rice bowl had a crack in it and to top it off, the meal was concluded with stale fortune cookies with no fortunes in the actual cookie. It was positively the worst restaurant experience any of us have ever had and a health concern with the chlorine residue in our drinks. Do not ever, ever, ever eat here if you value your money or health. It should be shut down by the city health inspector ASAP!!
If you want the most terrible dining experience imaginable, try this dump out. Unbelievably rude hostess/owner/server who acts as though she is doing you a favor by waiting upon you ! You begin to wonder if the place is even open, as there are never any customers - one visit will tell you why ! When the implements that the food is served in are chipped or cracked, then you begin to suspect the conditions in the back room. Givng this place one star is being charitable !!!
I like this restaurant. Small, no frills, and good, decent food. It's not the newest, but it has been around a long time.
It's never crowded.
We usually eat here for lunch but this most recent time got food to go.
It's right next door to Henry's Market.
My favorite dishes are Almond Chicken, Spicy Honey Chicken and Orange Chicken.
I ordered take out from here and they excluded part of the order, but I didn't realize it until I got home. When I called them to let them know what they left out, they said they would reduce the charge to my credit card by that amount. I was satisfied with that, although obviously I would have preferred to have the items I ordered. A few days later, I checked the transaction and realized they charged the full amount. After speaking with them on the phone several times, I ended up having to go back for a cash refund. Maybe just an unfortunate experience? It was my first time there, but I don't believe I will return. The food was okay.
