LA Caseta Mexican Restaurant, Fallbrook

We moved from Whittier 18 months ago. There are a number of good mexican places there and La Caseta is up there with them. The beans and rice have flavor, they don't just taste like they've been boiled in water. The prices are a little high but heh.. I don't know the costs of running a restaurant. And it is in Fallbrook where mostly everything is higher than a bigger city. My favorite is the nachos or chili rellano and my husband likes the enchiladas. Also the salsa is delicious NOT too hot. My hubby just asks for tabasco and doctors his share up..but I can still enjoy it without the extreme heat. It's the closest to real Mexican I've found close to home yet!!

Its amazing this place is still in business with the food they serve. The food once was good. Its been years since I had their food, and will be never when I return. The service was bad, half the food was cold and the salsa looked old. If you read the rest of the reviews you will see that the old ones agree that the food was once good. The newer ones back me up. Try Rosie's on Mission Ave behind KFC. Great Meican food, with great service. The green salsa is the bomb. :-}

i took my family there today for the annual 4lb burrito... only to find out that they weren't serving it until 3:30... we went there last year and ate at 12.. we're very disapointed!!! we won't be going back..

They have the most authentic Mexican Food in North County. They are famous for their salsa which they sell to go. Fun place to go on a date. I would highly recommend this place.

The best Mexican food in town ! I love the margaritas too. THe burritos are wonderful and the service is great. I really enjoy la caseta.

La Caseta is a great restaurant tucked off Main St. in Fallbrook. Prices are reasonable (most entrees under $10), staff is extremely friendly, and the food is tasty! Owned by a local family for years, La Caseta is a Fallbrook tradition! Try the carne asada nachos or the taco burrito!

I love this restraunt. It has a great atmosphere, great food and great people working there. I recommend the Chicken Wrap (a green tortilla) I love it.
