El Jardin Mexican Restaurant
El JardA-n Mexican Restaurant is a true feast for the senses. In business since 1976, diners continue to experience its warm hospitality coupled with excellent, traditional cuisine. Its devoted business partners have remained the same for 33 years. Brothers, Ray and Joe Fedorchak, and their wives, Charlene and Penny, have successfully delivered delicious, competitively priced food with attentive service. acoeWe are very fortunate to have so many wonderful loyal customers who feel just like family,ac Penny said. acoeOne of the best things about operating a restaurant is being able to visit with many friends, watching their little children grow up, get married, and then bringing in their children for dinner.ac
WTF??! Are you all on crack? This place is HORRIBLE, just plain AWFUL!! I went with my family, we sat down and were greeted by nasty flies swarming all over our table! It was SO utterly disgusting- we were swatting flies during our entire meal. The food is disgusting, bland, microvaved crap- not even suitable for my DOG to eat! I'm being totally serious, I'm not exaggerating at all. To top it all off our server was very rude! DO NOT GOT TO THIS PLACE! Fallbrook restaurants SUCK!
Always consistent food, pretty good for a Mexican Food Restaurant. You get what you pay for in most instances except for their margaritas, they are quite weak. Funny thing is, I haven't seen a Mexican/Latin person ever work there, odd for Fallbrook.
The secret is out!! El Jardin is great!! ( even after all these years) Always busy but the wait is never to long. I've tried most everything & love it all. Sunday champagne brunch is great too!! Eggs Benidict is to die for!!
Went to El Jardin last night for the first time and here is my humble opinion which is the first time I have EVER been compelled to write a review:
Ambiance: Old, needs to be re-done, super cheesy.
Service: Fine, they were good about refilling chips and salsa although it would be a lot easier on the staff if they just gave you a large bowl or basket up chips instead of a tiny little bowl.
Price: Insanely expensive for the food, portions and outdated surroundings.
Food (most important): Worst mexican food I have had in my life....I have lived in San Diego my whole life and really enjoy good mexican food but I don't know what this was, like nothing I have ever had before. The only thing I enjoyed was the salsa. I honestly cannot believe this place is still open considering the prices, food and ambiance. I will not return and have serious remorse about spending my hard earned money there last night!
