Taste of Thai, del Mar

I love this restaurant. It is very close to where I live. If you love thai food, you are sure to love this restaurant. The waitresses are dressed in Thailand attire and are very nice. The yellow curry is my favorite, but I also love the pad thai chicken. The atmosphere is casual and great for any situation. The only thing that I was turned off by was when I called to make a reservation recently, they wanted to wait until I arrived to put my name on the list.

It's fabulous, I eat here often. I would recommend it! Spicy noodles with duck, chicken, tofu or with mock duck any way is delicious!! The angel wing appetizer I love it! The only things that I have tried and didn't like were a vegitarian dish with mock meat, veggies and glass noodles(it's cooked in foil) it did not have much flavor. Also the thai sausage wasn't a favorite of mine. I've tried all the curries except the red and they are all delicious. At lunch time the servings are really good and come with soup an appetizer and salad. Also for a good price. The service is decent and the atmosphere is great. The dinner portions are enough to share.

Good atmosphere, good presentation, and very good food as well. We went there for a night out and had attentive service and a very nice time. It's the only Thai we have had so far, so it's the best we have had here.
