Claim Jumper Restaurant, La Mesa

What a lousy service. It took for ever to get a table. We waited at the bar asked for a beer that arrived after we got a table (20min). The chicken had blood on it. The manager offered to re-do it, and once he brought it back we waited for ever for some silverware, end up having to take the food to go. We didn't wana eat at home to avoid the hassle and end up there anyways. What a shame, it use to be one of my favorite places to go.

I had the worst meal in quite some time at this Claim Jumper. The salad that came with the meal had very little dressing on it. I ordered a rib eye steak and it was horrible it also came with maccaroni and cheese that had no cheese. The best part of the meal was the ice tea and roll that also came with the meal. I would warn anyone about going to this restraunt.

I've been there three times; and gotten stomache problems two of the three times. Once on a salad bar (don't ask me how you get diaharrea from a salad bar); and the second time my son and I both got stomache aches from the McNuggets and the Southwestern eggrolls. The place is always busy; I can't imagine how others are not getting sick. My advice: go to Soup Plantation if you want big portions.

It's a great place to eat. The food was good, and there's lots of it! The service was good, too. I would recommend it to anyone.

I ate at this place once and WOW was it Great! I loved the way they had the whole place set up...it's like ur eating at a fancy western restaurant. They have a Chandelier light made out of deer antlers and everything you see is pretty much old fashioned western like. The food is a bit on the expensive side but it is well worth your money and you will most likely need a to-go box! I will definetly make my way back there! Keep up the Good service ya'll!
