For 105 years, Flippin' Pizza has served authentic, hand-tossed, NY-style pizza to people like you. Well, sort of. See our pizza is 105 years old. No, that's not right either. It's like this-the year is 1903, the Model T was just invented, Teddy Roosevelt was in the White House, and pizza had just come to America. Real pizza. The kind we imagine hungry dock-workers ate, or delivery boys on the run, or those guys who built those big NY skyscrapers, they ate this kind of slice. So what's that got to do with Flippin' Pizza? Because that's the kind of pizza we stand here and make every day. A real, honest pie. An old-school, 8I'm from Brooklyn and you're not' pizza. So welcome to Flippin' Pizza. A New York original, since 2007.

Great pizza - best in Carlsbad for sure and probably the best in North County Doesn't hold a candle to Chicago pies but if you like NY pie it's pretty dang good Only knock (get it) on the place is the price as the pies are fairly expensive If you have the time - get a fresh made calzone they are wonderful

This is not only the absolute best value in the Carlsbad area (two slices of pizza and a drink for $5.00), but the pizza is very, very good. NY style, thin crust and as tasty as I have had in the SD and OC areas.. Well done.

The absolutely WORST pizza we ever had. Yes, the crust was thin but the layer of supposed cheese was thinner and totally tasteless. The pieces of pepperoni were dry, curled up at the edges and about the size of a nickel. The sausage could have been pieces of felt. The cashier didn't bother to tell us that all but one of the soda dispensers was out of order when we ordered 2 sodas. The tables hadn't been cleaned even tho the guy working there was just standing around with little to do. Stay away from this place!!!!!!

Honestly,I do not care about the N.Y.style label.What I really love is the California style El fresco dining.(outside)on the sidewalk.Have a beer and a slice and enjoy the oceanfront weather.The world famous D-man loves it,and so do I.

This is the real thing - very New Yawk. Yeah, the delivery is slow - so if you are in a hurry, best to pick it up yourself or eat at the restaurant - definitely worth it though.

I had heard good things, but after an hour and twenty minute wait for delivery and not getting my complete order I called the driver to get the rest of my order and he said that he had other deliveries and wouldn't be back for quite a while (he never did return with my order) I called the manager to no avail. On a 4 item pizza the toppings were sparce and the crust tougher than shoe leather. As a result of marginal food quality, poor service and a complete disregard for the customer, my business will be going elsewhere.

SO GLAD YOU MOVED NORTH, THE DRIVE TO HILLCREST WAS WORTH IT BUT TAKES TOO MUCH GAS- HA! DON'T GRIPE ABOUT THE SEATING- ENJOY THE FOOD!!!
