Mandarin Canton Restaurant, Chula Vista

You get the most bang for your buck here at this little hole in the wall. The food is always fantastic and it is ready very quickly. The Orange chicken is a refreshing change from the generic versions you find at other Chinese food restauants. The salt and pepper wings are fantastic but my wife and I always order the Wor Wonton Soup. It is loaded with chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp; and the wontons are perfectly made with a hint of ginger. This is the best Chinese restaurant in the south bay. The destroy PF Changs in regard to authenticity.

If you want ambiance, go to PF Chang's. If you want good, simple Chinese food, this place is for you. I have never had a bad dish at Mandarin Canton and I find their prices to be very reasonable. All of the dishes are well prepared and delicious. My favorite dish is the House Noodle, beef, chicken, shrimp and pork with vegies. I have never had it be anything but tasty and full of good stuff. This place is a hit with myself and my wife.

It's really good chinese food. Kinda cramped size wise but the food is good. I prefer their other location which is located in front of southwestern college. Portions are slightly larger, so is the restaurant. The place is always full for a reason! Both good but I prefer the Otay Lakes Rd location.

ORDER, EAT, AND GET OUT!!! DON'T MAKE EYE CONTACT. JUST TELL THEM WHAT YOU WANT. THE WHOLE MENU IS GREAT. BEST IN TOWN!!!

Don't got with any expectation of ambiance, being that it's located in a strip mall. Order the chicken wings and you will never wonder again whether strip mall joints can offer compellingly delicious food! Since ai had no expectations for the environment, I was thrilled with my experience (cheap, fabulous, plentifully delicious food!).

The food and the prices are excellent; they have authentic mandarin/chinese food (cooks are actually chinese!) The food is always fresh (ingridients) and hot! The beef and the chicken are thinly sliced and it makes it real savory. This place is definately my favorite chinese food; it has been for years. The place itself is not much to speak about; you just go there to eat. Great for take out; the portions are just right!

Everyother weekend the girls at work and i order from this place. (lunch menu specials) Let me tell you. the most popular order is the salt and peper chicken wings. they are YUMMMY!!
