Marco's Restaurant, Imperial Beach

Marcos on Palm moved to 12th Street . Its good food in my opinion. The eggplant was great and garlic bread and the minestrone soup was wonderful!

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL place.... the bartenders drinks is the only thing good about this place. When we placed our order it took 38 minutes for our food to arrive.. 38 MINUTES!! it was a sandwich dish not even a cooked meal. The sandwich was missing alot of stuff that the menu said it came with. when i brought it up to waitress she said okay and walked away!! did not offer to fix the sandwich. After i paid my $25 bill (for 2 hot sandwiches NO DRINKS) I went straight to a REAL restaurant. Not a good place to spend my hard earned cash :(

Wonderful small restaurant with great unassuming service and delicious food. The restaurant has a relaxed ambiance that does not feel cheap. The menu is diverse and the prices are reasonable. I have paid about the same or more for a far worse experience at chain restaurants and downtown restaurants that are supposed to be the best in San Diego. This is a great local find and we plan to visit regularly to try more of their menu.
