We went to this restaurant for my mother's b day. Prior to today, I have had many friends tell me how great this place is. I have to disagree. Service was ok, all the meat was very chewy except for the chicken. It had a good flavor, but thats about all. I agree with the other post, its ALL YOU CAN EAT and it doesn't even include soft drinks or dessert. I think its way over priced and probably will not return. On top of that, our server tried to short us $20! We couldn't believe it!
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Los Angeles. I used to frequent the Green Field in Queens, NY. You have to come here on an empty stomach. I disagree with the peoples comments that the meats are too salty. They must like bland food. The food is seasoned perfectly. I would work here for minimum wage part-time just to find out the secret to their marinade! They have every kind of meat you can imagine. I've even tried Brazilian watersnake and rabbit for the first time ever here and it's awesome. Everything tastes good. I would recommend this place to anyone that likes meat. The salad bar is also extensive.
Food was great and so was the service. I had passed this place many times for years but never went in, now I am glad that I finally went. So much of a variety to choose from. I would like to go again but it's a bit pricey, but once in a while will be great! I will definately go back. Go hungry cause there is lots to eat.
I went to Green Field the one in Long Beach an I have to say, this is a great place to go with friends or family to eat, I personally go with my wife. The meat is great, a huge variety to choose from in the salad bar, great service, price is fair, just don't abuse, because if you do abuse eating??? You can get sick like the previous comments I read.
I went there for a celebration. I'm a huge grill fan; the food there has a great variety. The service was wonderful, the server came by often, and when we needed something they were there to tend to all our needs. For my taste the meat was not salty (and I don't use salt in my food). I would gladly recommend it to anyone; because of the price I don't go as often as I would like to.
I went to this place and I really didn't like it. The meats were really dry and tasted like salt and pepper but that was about it. It kind of tasted like old jerky and had that same texture. If you're looking for good, juicy flavorful steaks you have to go to Picanha in Burbank (I think it's on Palm Ave.) Don't even waste time going anywhere else. I paid like $65 for two people and two glasses of water. Totally not worth it. Oh yeah, and afterward I felt like vomiting.
I got sick from the food from this restaurant. I called to complain and the girl shut me off. The manager wasnt even curtious enough to refund at least 1/2 what we paid ($30/plate) I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The food is good at first but when you get home- that's when it hits you. Guaranteed Diarhea all night!! The meats musn't have been cooked well or the chicken/shrimp must have gone bad before they cooked them.
The meat were all too salty, I could only taste the salt not the meat. Most of the meat were a little hard to chew, and they all taste the same because of too much salt. I couldn't really enjoy the food and eat as much as I wanted because of the salt. We paid around $28 per person on a Sunday evening, and we only had water and no desert since they were not included with the ALL YOU CAN EAT meal. Wish they could at least serve some fruit or include some little desert for that price.
