DISGUSTING the new owners changed the Famous beef teriyaki into ground beef and it is now indonesian food. No longer korean bbq! I had been going since childhood and took my children as well it is sad this new owner runied the place.
fish ./ shrimp/ zuccinii combo is my favorite Fish and chips are the closest you can get to H salt . in the area . The guy at the front is classic.. the food is fresh to order , im not to partial to the chinese food, except the soups are ok the egg one is great if you have a cold. Basically i just like the fish and chips..
Feb. 25, 2010 update
Linda and John are retiring, their last day at LL will be next Monday March 1st. The new owners are already learning all they can, including cooking, from Linda and John. They also promised to keep everything the way it has been.
All you old timers of LL, please take this last chance to eat there while Linda and John are still there, at least to bid them farewell. I know I will miss them very much.
Try this combo:
beef teriyaki smothered with their home made salsa until each grain of rice is soaked, scoop them up, put them in your mouth and get ready for your tongue to catch on fire! this is exactly what got me hooked to Little Londdon since my alhambra high school days...
I hope Linda and John are not going to retire any time soon!
I've been eating LL since preschool. So let's call it 35 years now. I moved out of state within the last few years but when I'm back in the hood. I make sure to hit that up. They rock some nice Korean BBQ. Linda and John (Owner/Operators) are the best. Very little has changed up in the LL, including the prices. Here's what I order.
Beef Teriyaki (Ask for extra meat)
Teriyaki burger (Extra meat)
Iced Tea (Check out the milk container that it's brewed in)Haaaaaa
Ask for Kim Chee
and extra salsa
Once you smash that you'll be hooked.
This little mom and pop shop has been in the same location for over 10 years serving up delicious food at almost the same price as a decade ago! i love their beef teriyaki and fries! Excellent HOT SAUCE!
I absolutely love this place. I've gone there for years. if you ever get a chance to go, order the porkchop teriyaki. it is a hole in the wall, but a place with great food. The people are awesome. Hope you get to go!!!!
If you are in the San Gabriel area, check out this little tiny place near the corner of Main and Garfield. It's been there for over 20 years. I always order the Shrimp Teriyaki with extra shrimps, kimchee and the best hot sauce!!!
