Ami Sushi, West Covina

This place is very delicious and the price is really great, not at all expensive... my new fav place, it definitely tops sakura of tokyo!

My favorite sushi place is in Westwood, Tomodachi, but it's too far to drive and this comes in a very close second. I have yet to be disappointed with their food. The quality is good and their prices can't be beat. Also I have yet to wait...which is nice and it's a nice casual atmosphere. GREAT SUSHI! The last time I was there the server was awful...she was new because I had never seen her before. She forgot our drinks, I had to remind her to bring them out. she meesed up on our order and then never came back to ask how we liked everything. We wanted to order more, but she didn't come over to us. When i finally got her attention she brought the check, thinking that's what we wanted. I told her we wanted to order more and she said we had to wait and she walked away. I was upset and said forget it, we've waited long enough. I then asked if she was new and she seemed upset by that. I left her a descent tip, but I wish I hadn't she was awful...def. not worth a tip. If I go again and she is there I will order to go so that I don't have to deal with her.

Best sushi ever!!!!!!!!! And it is a very nice and quite place to go.

Fairly good Sushi at a very very good price! They had the cutest take out containers too!

This little family owned restaurant not only has the most reasonably priced but delicious food. It's very comfortable and when I want to treat my family that's always the first place that comes to mind.

It took me 10-15 different sushi bar to find a decent one in the area. Who would think considering the ethnic make up? Ami Sushi has a casual environment where Sam the sushi chef always remembers everybody's name. The fish is fresh and price excellent.
