My family and I decided to Dine at Cask ‘n Cleaver, it was the first time at this restaurant. I had 2 American express gift cards worth $25 so I used them up and wanted to pay the remaining balance with my Visa card. They said that the Gift cars were 0.00 Balance. So I paid the total Balance with my VISA. I went home and I called American Express and they said that the gift cards were just used today by that Merchant.
I'm like O K !?!?!?
So I went and checked my Bank Statement Online. My Checking balance was at $-84. They have charged me over 16 times in the amounts ranging from $25-75, and I waited over 30 minutes to get a response on the situation on my bill. They took the bill and it took them that long to tell me that they were trying to resolve a situation, there system was down.
The food was ok, we asked for the meet to be well-done and it wasn’t.
Waiting was Good.
The service was BAD.
But well I ever go there again, NOPE, I DON'T THINK SO.....
Ate there recently and dissappointed with steak and salad bar. I ordered a filet mignon and was expecting a nice thick filet. Got a steak that looked more like a thin strip steak and I had to cut off chunks of fat. The salad bar was nothing special and I noticed a bug flying around.
I made it during Happy Hour so my drink and appetizer were half price. Bloody Mary was OK, Tempura Fried Avocado was very good. All-n-all, a complely mediocre experience. I may go back for Happy Hour, but not for their steak.
Used to love the old layout...not so crazy about the renovations done lately. It looks more like a Carrow's than what used to be a beautiful, rustic, warm restaurant with great ambience. Still, the food is good and the people are usually very nice. The entertainment is usually pretty good...AWESOME when a band called The Ravelers play. I recommemend C&C.
We go there often! Gotta love the burgers and Blue Cheese Smothered Steak! YUM! Best Salad Bar in town!!! Great service, friendly and excellent atmosphere. Love the oversized booths in the back!
Ate dinner on 6/1/09 and AMAZING Bleu Cheeseburger (as usual). This is my new favorite! OMG you have to try it. Ask for the Bleu Cheese crumbles and put them on your Cask Burger - OH YA! Its awesome and you can never get enough crumbles, at least I can't, lol
I had the prime rib. It was dry and tasteless and the baked potato was over cooked and dry. For $30 the cut should have been better. My mother had the filet special. The portions of the side of mashed potatoes and veggies was a joke. My brother in law had the King of Steaks . The portion of meat was decent but again the sides were chinsey. The only highlight was the warm bread...but the hard butter made the good impression fleeting. My sister had the Teryaki special...she said the shrimp was good...but that was about it. The waitress was short and inconsiderate. I asked her a question and she seemed to only be interested in the only male at the table. She never returned to ask us how our meal was after it was served. Had she done so I would have sent my prime rib back. The good news is our dogs enjoyed it.
This huge water park is a full day of fun for the entire family. With speed slides that propel you
downward at 35 miles per hour, and slides that tower eight stories into the sky, even the most daring ...
