The pho is not that great, I would say the quality of the Pho is almost the same as Pho Hanh Vietnamese restaurant on Rosemead. The soupbase was bland. It was a bit disappointing, I was expecting good Pho based on other's review. The beef with rice and dessert drink, however, was good. I may go back and try other items on the menu, but likely would not order pho again.
Vietnamese restaurants are becoming as mainstream as Thai, Chinese, and Mexican. Saigons Flavor is one of the originals. And with the new interior facelift it is not very hard to imagine one is in Saigon. The food is plentifull, fast, and filling. The staff is accomodating. Prices are reasonable. A beef or pork sandwich on a roll stuffed with lettuce, peppers and tomatoe is less than three dollars.
The food is delicious. I mean, so good that I can go eat there everyday. The service has friendly servers. All smiles, all day. The ambiance is comfy-family vietnam style decorated with beautiful pictures of vietnam on the walls. Each dish are a great steal, consider the very generous amount served. I LOVE IT!
