I am angry at this restaurant because they wrongfully over charged my credit card more than the amount I authorized. I called the restaurant hoping to have my money refunded. Not only was the angry chinese woman not apologetic at all for their mishap, she yelled at me as if I did her wrong.
Do not go here...the food is not that great, the service is not that good, and they will wrong you and blame you for it.
China Islamic is a really great place to go for dinner. My whole family likes it! I LOVE their Sesame Chicken, and the parathas (green onion pies) are super yummy. I have never really had an issue with the atmosphere (unlike other readers that have posted here), and the portions are large enough that my husband and I usually get a great lunch the next day with the leftovers. I recommend China Islamic.
The best HALAL chinese restaurant hands down! Big portions, and the orders come in quick. Hot and fresh items. I suggest the 'chinese style paratha' and the 'orange chicken. The parking isnt too good, but the inside is pretty big. Check it out!
I love this place! The atmosphere is hectic yeah, but great family place. I got a big family and whenever we get together we go there because the food is delicious, and most of all its halal food! I have so much memories there. I tried Jamillah Garden in San Diego before, but it was nothing near Chinese Islamic restaurant in Los Angeles. If u dont like the noise, then try take out cuz honestly the food is great and tasty, its hard to find halal restaurants nowadays, and especially a Chinese one... totally recommend it for anyone, especially Muslims...
I definately think that if you live somewhere there, its a good to go food. Ambience is definately noisy, with the kitchen noice and u simply cant enjoy a meal if u hear what your neighbour is talking about! Service wise, you get what you pay for. Great food though, where else can u find halal chinese food ey?
This Restaurant is good and cheap. For their lunch special plates which comes with rice, soup and an eggroll, it's only $4.25. However, portions are smaller than I'm use to from chinese restaurants.
The food was okay enough. I had the spicy eggplant and the Lamp with Sa Cha sauce. They were good. Rice was good as always.
My least favorite thing was that they closed at 3pm. They reopen at 5pm but I didn't understand why. Also they don't take credit cards for orders under $25. I hate places that don't take credit cards.
The place does serve Helal meat so if you have friends that can only eat Kosher, this restaurant is it.
As the previous review said, the place is starting to get run down but it's not terrible it still looks relatively good.
It's Chinese food with lamb and mutton thrown in on the menu and you get bread instead of rice (unless you ask for rice). The food is tasty. Unfortunately, the restaurant is starting to look run down. But if you don't mind that, go for the food at reasonable prices.
