I have taken my wife here on several occasions. I usually order the ribeye and they never disappoint. It is probably the nicest restaurant in the West End of San Bernardino County.-Going here for years and the food and service is consistently great
Overcooked, over salted, overpriced. I chose a seafood pasta entree, it smelled great, but digging in told a different story. The shrimp, mussels, clams, were overcooked and rubbery. The pasta was bland as if it were cooked without salt, but the watery sauce had too much salt. The portion was meager.
I liked the decor, and live piano music was a good idea, but too loud. The service was friendly enough but extremely slow. The tip off should have been that our group arrived around 7 p.m. on a Saturday night and there was plenty of seating available, how good a value could it be?
I don't plan on returning. The steaks some of our party had looked good, I just didn't feel like shelling out $38, (no salad included) on an unknown quantity.
I've had much better pasta, at way cheaper prices at chains like Carrabba's.
Skip it, try somewhere else.
I took my girlfriend there for the first time a couple months ago. We loved the atmosphere there. Great lighting, live music, and great decor really make this a romantic place to take that special someone. Food was really great, especially the steaks. Only warnings I would give is the prices are quite high and this is not a casual dining place. You may feel a little out of place if your not wearing a nice suit or dress but if your looking for class this is the place to go.
excellent steak. great service. nice atmosphere. All of the side dishes we chose were tasty as well. It was fairly pricey but worth the cost when compared to other eateries in this price range. I would go there again for sure for a special ocasion.
We love this place. We have been here 4-5 times and have never had a bad experience. The service has always been awesome. The food is great. My recommendation is the mac n cheese and the avacado eggrolls. We used to go to Duanes as our go to celebration place, but no longer. Ner York Grill has taken over the top spot. I cannot say enough about how great this place is.
The steaks are very good as well as the sides. The lobster bisque is also pretty good.
However i suggest you stay away from their Oysters as they appear to be pre-shucked. It took my wife and i a couple of days to get over that mistake. They came out less than fresh and we should have returned them. When in doubt send them back. Advice we should have used. I had the special rib-eye and shrimp and my wife had a salad. We enjoyed the main course very much.
Make sure you bring a full wallet. We paid $170.00 (incl tip) to get out of there. The special (rib-eye and shrimp) was over $40.00 as i learned later.
The best steak house I have ever experienced. And I know steaks! I do not proclaim to be a world reknown expert, but I have been to alot of notable steakhouses. From hole in the field texas porterhouse steak places in texas to dainty highly refined locales the burn your bank account. In my experience, after having visited the most notable and expensive steakhouse in Pasadena, This place blew it out of the water. My steak melted in my mouth. Bite after bite, the warm buttery morsels of meat found their way to my mouth. I don't even remember having my eyes open I couldn't get over how perfect my steak was prepared. My side dishes. My dessert. One by one: served. Exactly and precisely as i wanted them be served. I never once needed to call the server. It was as if he had a telapathic ability to read when i wanted a beverage, water, bread, a searing knife, a lemon. It was the best experience in customer service I could ask for. And the taste, ::kisses finger tips:: I was highly impressed
