OK went there, not too impressed. The broth was thin, almost powdered, you could tell there were no meats slow cooked in this, no fat. Had a no.1 pho, reasonable amount of meat, very lean though. Needed more onions, way too much rice noodles for a bowl. Good sprouts and jalepeno, clean environment. Also no air conditioning on for customers. Summer time too.
Best Vietnamese restaurant in Corona by far. Pho - is amazing considering their stock is fresh and the brisket is delicious.
Pork and garlic dry noodles are also delicious.
Most of their Chinese-Vietnamese dishes are high quality.
If you're zooming down Interstate 15, consider stopping at the most superb Vietnamese restaurant in the Inland Empire: Little Saigon on Hamner Avenue in Norco. The usual menu items are great, such a the pho' with meaballs and rare steak, but try some of the unusual fare, such as the green papaya salad with beef jerky, topped with crispy baked slices of garlic. It has a light, sweet, slightly hot dressing that is magnificent with the sweet-smokey jerks and the tart, crisp shredded papaya. You've never had anything like it! It's right off Interstate 15 and the Sixth Street exit and worth the drive. It's located in an ugly 1970s strip mall that is in need of a makeover, just a couple of doors down from Hamner Liquor - they devote a lot more shelf space to western wear than booze - but that's another review. The dining room is tiny, with an annex in back; combinded, the two seating areas might seat 30 people. The kitchen is spotless. Wait staff is nice and helpful. Prices are super-reasonable. Gourmet fare. Next-to-nuthin' prices.
