The 'T' stands for Terrible (service, that is). We give this place a chance every few years, and we're amazed at their focus on ... well, anything except the customer. Today, the waiter left us menus, took our drink order and never came back. For 15 minutes, we watched him take other parties' orders (we had a good view - it's not as if there were many other customers there). We left and ended up having a fun time at Warehouse Pizza across the street.

Service sucks! I will never go back.Servers don't seem to care about customers. Food is too big and awful. The owners really need to rethink their hole in the walls philosophy. Because with bad service and bad attitudes your place will be shut down.

The people are FRIENDLY THERE! Took the family there for lunch and it was wonderful. The food was awesome. BIG QUANTITY! Sodas are HUGEEEEE. One of my favourite places to dine at. It was not that busy when we went so serving time was pretty quick. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!! Give this place a try.

Mhhh... place is just above average. I don't frequent, only been here once. If you're under 30, you probably don't want to show up before 10PM as you'll likely only run into the older regulars and/or cougars. The college kids tend to show up later in the evening (so I hear). They have a decent selection of beers on tap (domestics and some microbrews). Cross your fingers on the imports, they didn't have Heineken, so I had to settle for a New Castle. They'll start you off with peanuts and have some pretty good food. Feel free to toss the peanut shells on the floor or at your friends (especially if you friend is allergic to peanuts). Waitresses were pretty good looking, the one with tatooes smelt really nice! All in all, good times to be had here.

Great BEER!
The place has a good ambience most nights...The beer is what makes the place stand out, it has several good beers on tap. Especially german beers. This used to be a Heroes Bar and Grill, but changed it and now it has pretty good atmosphere and reputation. Food is good and so is the service. I read other reviews but that is anywhere you go these days. Bring a designated driver because it's next door to the PD.

Snobby People...but good chips!
By ,
the environment is a bit snobby, mainly uppity post college age crowd. Sit outside for more privacy (they have heaters in the winter). Slow service, but good food. Try the homemade potatoe chips. A bit pricey though. We live close so it's a nice place to have a bite on friday evenings after work. My only complaint is the snobby attitudes of the staff and even owner.

Will think twice about returning
By ,
I have been visiting T-Phillips for several years. I usually had a pleasant experience until my last visit. I ordered a Chicken Tender meal and was charged 50 cent for dipping sauce (ranch dressing). The server refused to refund the 50 cents. I spoke with the owner the next day and he also refused to refund the 50 cents. He indicated he must control his costs. Next time I will go to Chili's, Applebee's or Red Robin. They don't charge for ranch dressing.
