Consistently good food and good service. I attend this Coco's more than any other up and down the 210 fwy. I am sure to feel at home and get good food, no matter what chaos is reigning down on Southern California!
We have gone to the Glendora Coco's many times. Tonight however we had a bad experience. There were 4 adults in our party and all meals were unsatisfactory. 2 orders of beer batter cod were very over cooked and dry. Fresh fruit was terrible. Frys were over cooked. One cod dinner had no flavor & a combo fish platter was also overcooked. The best part of this evening at Coco's was the waiter Brett, he was courtious and appologetic. We used 1 coupon for dinners but dissappointed we couldn't use the $2.00 off for a whole pie to take home
so we didn't buy a pie. Don't know if or when we will return.
Worst Coco's ever! I've been there three times, and every single time I've had a horrible waiter. This last time there was a roach on the wall right behind me, I was so grossed out! The manager didn't even bother to apologize. Don't be tricked by it's clean apearence, I'll never ever go back again!
I stopped going to this Coco's recently because of the inconsistent service. They have two good servers, but the rest of them range from ok to terrible!!
For the prices they charge definetly not worth it.
Management there is incompetent or they just don't care.
This is the worst Coco's my family has ever visited even though the building and location seem great. If you are in the area go to any other Coco's, especially the Upland location on Foothill and 17th,
This location hides the 'specials' offered on the other location menus by stapling them inside a sleeve so you will not know the chain offers some great specials. The server was very abrupt about my ordering a breakfast off the senior menu (which the Upland Coco's glady does because it is not so huge and I like that) and was obviously irritated and could not believe the Upland location served that to me.
Then, I actually used a coupon at check out and they stalled and kept a huge line of people waiting. The reason we went to Coco's was to use the coupon; then they found a way to charge us MORE on a beverage to honor the coupon.
This location will not do well due to the management. If they send a coupon to your home and advertise specials, then you get there and they hassel you about it, people won't come back.Certainly we will not.The employees seemed afraid of the manager who made our 'server' quite rude, in my opinion.
My Son's girlfriend picked this Coco's for Breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was her birthday and both she and my Son had to work that day. Breakfast was the only time we could all get together.
We waited about 15 minutes outside on the sidewalk because the restaurant was so crowded. The service and the food was barely average for a coffee shop, definitely not worth the wait. Since I was paying Coco's prices, I expect better than average. Sadly, this was a typical visit at this Coco's.
We live only 5 minutes away and rarely visit this location more than once every 2 years or so. Everytime we go, we remember why we do not go back more often.
Small independant coffee shops are very plentiful in Glendora, San Dimas, and La Verne. The prices are usually much lower and the quality of food and service is so much better.
Maybe Coco's will someday learn that a big advertising budget does not make up for poor quality food and service.
