Bring in a SICK New Years @ Claim Jumper (Rancho)
Wife and I sat down for dinner. Place was packed. 45 min for a table. I love pork baby ribs. Except when they are dry and have little to no sauce. Yes, I order the Ribs & 1/2 a Chicken. HAAA the chicken, I took a bite in the leg and saw blood around the bone. So I went to the brest area, took off a little, looked ok so I ate it. Wrong thing to do. We got home went to bed early. I got up around 1:00 am went to the bathroom with BAD cramps and sat on the pot for a good 1/2 hr. Thinking every is ok I jumped in the shower, got out and went back to the pot again. 2 days it took me to get back to feeling good. Guess I will grade Claim Jumper (- 3) I called and talked to the day boss, He did say SORRY.
I just went here with my family to celebrate my daughters birthday. What a huge disappointment! They told us when we put our name in that it would be a 45 minute to one hour wait. I was willing to wait because that is where my daughter wanted to eat.Well we waited and hour and a half and there was not even an apology for the long wait. I should think that experienced restaurant workers would be better at estimating how long the wait would be. When we did finally get a table they put us by the door to the kitchen so that all I could hear during our meal was the clanking of dishes. Once we did order it took a very long time for our food to come. The food tasted good but it was not worth the wait.
ive gone here twice in the last 2 weeks. the first time was with a gf and we ordered crab cakes appetizer. it was so good. she ordered the roast beef and i ordered the crusted parmasen chicken, the entrees were huge and we didnt even dent our meal. then of course we ordered their small bites dessert, try it! the english toffee pudding is the best, it just melts in your mouth and the ice cream tops it off. the flan and the red velvet cupcake was good also. the razzbellini was yummy. they give you a little bottle of wine so u can add as much alcohol to your drink as you want.
If you enjoy a Mouth Watering steak with all the fixin's, Claim Jumper is the place to go. Their table servers are very attentive and pleasant. Good food, a clean restaurant, and a pleasant dining experience, that is what you will get when you come in. You will be back.
Ugh, what a wait! I can not understand the draw of this place, with so many other places to eat in close proximity. It is always packed. And, the sleaziest Wal-Mart in the I.E. shares the parking lot with Claim Jumper. At least the weirdos always know they have ample time to break into your car when they see you enter the restaurant.
Claim Jumper is a wonderful place. I went there with my castmates(20+ people) after we did a show. The wait is a bit long, but they were helpful in accomadating our large group. The staff was very friendsl even though we were a big loud. The food was wonderful every thing from the appetizers to the alcoholic beverages to the yummy chocolate dessert.
