You call in an order and the guy acts as if he is doing you a favor taking your order. Most of the time you have to repeat yourself a few times because he isn't really listening. They tell you 15 minutes to pick up an order and if you drive over there and arrive 15 minutes later they haven't even started it yet. Place is always dirty and their food is just so-so. Was so much better 15 years ago! I've given up on El Torero. Looking for a replacement.
Hey guys, I've lived here since 1971, and they were here then. I knew the original owner (Cervantez) and every one since, and they have kept it the same. By-the-way, Try the Burelleno with rice or rice and beans. Yum
Yum. You can phone in and they will have it ready when you get there.
last 2 times I have been disappointed, came home tonight without a complete order, plus an order of taquitos & a lg order of guacamole I didn't get, had to remind them that I wanted jalepanos or wouldn't have gotten them-they were not busy so can't excuse them for that, have lost a customer & I have lived here for over 40 years-have to find another Mexican resturant, be nice if they gave a receipt so you know what they have written down--
One of the few places in Corona that has been around for over 30 years. This place has not changed & the food is still just as great as it was over 30 years ago. I remember going there as a child & still to this day love the place, people & the food!
