I wanted to try this restraint and I’m glad I did. It was great!! The waitress named Bobby was wonderful, she was so personal and friendly like as if we’ve been friends for years. The food was great and better than most places that charge more for the same type of food and service. This was my first time and I will be returning because the place was Great!
I had a special event at Harvard Square Cafe last weekend and can't say enought good things about the restaurant. The staff was beyond helpful, the servers were gracious and patient with meeting the needs of 25 plus people. The food was very good, the crab cakes delicious and the atmosphere perfect for an intimate afternoon event. Sophicated atmosphere (we ate indoors), accommodating staff and good food - I would definitely recommend Harvard Square Cafe to anyone. Don't miss out!
I think Harvard Square is great. My friends, family, and i have been going for years. The service has always been wonderful and the food is always exceptional. We usually go at night, we have lots of favorites including the salmon, porkloin, and chicken marsala. It has the best patio around. Its a very good place to go on a warm summer night. I would definnitly recommend going to harvard square.
I have been to this restaurant twice and I was disappointed both times. The service is okay and the food is average. A coworker and I went there a few weeks ago and waited so long for our order to be taken that we had to go somewhere else for lunch. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in the area. Don’t waste your time here.
My daughters and I were their on a Saturday noon time visit. We were served on kindly and efficiently...the waiter was informing, and available, but not pushy. The Scallop wrap was delicious, and so was the Turkey sandwhich. I loved the calm atmosphere and would recommend this place to any mother and daughter for a special or anyday event!

My husband and I have lived in Claremont for years and have never eaten at the Harvard Square Cafe. We enjoyed our experience there immensely. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was romantic, yet there wasn't a seat to be spared. Our food was excellent and we can't wait to go back!! The only thing that bummed us out a bit, was the fact that they were out of several things on the menu that night and we had really hoped to try the mussels more than anything. Overall, it was a great experience though.
There only appeared to be four people on staff that day, very young and immature. Our kept walking right next to us and spilling water, we sat for 10 minutes until we were greeted. It was pretty empty at that time and all the tables were just looking around waiting for their waiters to come by. But the tomato basil soup was absolutely delicious! I got an omelette and the portions were so that you finished your plate and didn't really need more.
