Chevy's Fresh Mex
Everything is made fresh, many times during the day, at this festive restaurant that offers favorites such as quesadillas, chimichangas, fajitas, tacos, burritos, and combination plates on the menu, complemented by hand shaken margaritas and premium tequilas.
Great service. I had 4 people helping me by confering with each other to get what I wanted. The only thing is the fish tacos are so super salty. Chips were great. But it just seemed the food was super salty. First time there, might go there to hang out with friends, but I prefer the fish tacos from baja fresh.
food was good but service was terrible.
margaritas were really good though!
i saw the manager talking to these women
who were dining there and he was flirting
with them! ugh terrible for business.
good food but i'm never eating there again!
Food is ok, pretty much exactly what you'd expect for an Americanized Mexican chain. I used to go here every now and then but the last few times the service has been terrible, I am not going back anymore. Like someone here said it's like you aren't even there.
went around 4:30-5:00. business was light, few dining in the dining room, nobody at the bar. they seated me at the bar. i got my drink, a coke, and then NEVER WAS SPOKEN TO AGAIN! nobody took my order, the bartender was right in front of me but never acknowledged my presence after ordering my drink, so i thought that i would wait and see how long it took, and then i finished my drink AND THEN I WALKED OUT!!! service like that doesnt
deserve to be paid for!!! in fact i am wondering why the bartender gets paid at all? i would have talked to the manager, but since i already wasted enough time waiting to order and also i had to go to work, i left and probably wont ever go back! which is tragic because the food is pretty yummy!
My wife and I love to go there to eat lunch with our friends. I love the flour torilla's that they make there on this machine. My favorite plate is the chicken or steak fajita. I can't forget my favorite drinks Corona's. I heard the Margaritas are really good.
We went to Chevy's in Burbank for lunch. The hostess was talking on the phone and did not acknowledge us for quite a while, but she was nice enough to seat us outside when we finally asked. The food was OK. The chips and salsa are tasty and fresh. The lunch specials are a little bit less expensive than the other entrees, but the place is still a bit on the pricey side for what it is. I usually have the flautas, but I decided to try something else--the steak quesadilla and chopped salad. I should have stuck to the flautas. The quesadilla was dry, and the salad was only so-so. The service was very bad. The waiter kept forgetting to bring us things, and different people kept coming by to ask us the same thing. I'm willing to give the place another chance--maybe they were having a bad day. But I will probably look for somewhere else to eat if I can.
