Midori Sushi Restaurant, Studio City

Good Sushi - All you can eat=Ok Deal; BUT The staff are really rude which makes its an unfavorable experience.

Regular customer of Midori for a very long time. The last time we went there we ordered, ate, paid our tab and left. The waiter comes running after us waiving the check at us asking us why we left the tip we did. First of all, it was an obvious oversight, as some of us payed with cash and others with credit. But the fact that we were chased down as if we didn't pay our bill was extremely tacky and rude. In addition, after the waiter caught up to us, he would not leave until we left the tip he felt was applicable. Because we were so confused with what was going on, we conceded but on our way home we realized how obnoxious that was. A tip is not mandatory, it's appreciated. We are normally great tippers but any restuarant worth its reputation would not run down customers for a tip. Either chalk it up as an error, or the people being cheap but let it go. I will NEVER eat there again. I found a better place for sushi, CHIBA on Lankershim and Saticoy.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! The food is not good at all. They serve food covered with lots of rice. You can't enjoy a japanese food with lots of rice (can you imagine eating rice not sushi?) To me the fish they serve is not fresh, the seaweed they use seems old (like a chewing gum). And the RICE (it gets hard so quick and very sticky), again it seems like its a cheap quality RICE!!! The customer service!!! Its not great. its like you went to a very low class, cheap restaurant, not customer friendly service!!! Do not waste your money to this restaurant. its a shame if you bring a friend and they will receive this quality of food and service. Again, please do not embarass yourself to your invited guest or to yourself!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. ITS A WASTE OF MONEY NOTHING ELSE I CAN SAY. I'M SORRY BUT ITS TRUE. ITS MY EXPERIENCE..

NOT A GOOD RESTAURANT. I'm a regular customer OF THIS RESTAURANT and goes there at least once or twice a month and brings friends to check them out too. For the past few visit, I've observed that, the food is getting worst and worst everytime i visit them. They are putting more rice to their food now. They fill lots and lots of rice to all their servings. Its like getting a very very thick bun for a small and very thin burger patty. The rice they use is also getting worst and looks like they are using cheat quality rice now. The seaweed they use taste like old one. The customer service is getting worst too. I feel sorry for the new customer now, they are ripping them off. ITS NOT THE BEST SUSHI RESTAURANT TO GO. THEY ARE GETTING WORST EVERYTIME I GO THERE. NOW IS THE LAST TIME and I WILL never EVER GO THERE anymore. I GAVE THEM SOME CHANCES, THAT IT MIGHT BE A BAD DAY WHEN I WENT BUT ITS BECOMING REGULAR BAD FOOD NOW. SORRY GUYS, DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY TO THAT RESTAURANT. I went there last night to give them another chance and its was worst that the last time i've been there. GET AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. TRY OTHER AND LET ME KNOW WHERE is the better SUSHI RESTAURANT IN THE VALLEY.

Good sushi - HORRIBLE valet service...they stole cash from my middle compartment and an iPod shuffle from my friend's car!!! Management couldn't do anything about it - all they told us was to call and complain to the valet company...never going here again - maybe to the one in Sherman Oaks/Encino where we can actually park our own cars...just remember - BEWARE of the valet!!!!

I don't know why they have bad service on certain nights but the service we had on a Saturday night was great. We did not have a reservation and they seated us quickly even though the place was mostly full. They accomadated all of our requests and checked in on us every few minutes. Our waitress and the host were great. Sushi was really good. We are going back again tonight!

such a great buffet as well as a la carte.... Best to go as a group to be able to taste ALL the sushi!!Well worth the $$$ ^_^ thats what we did!! lol.. we pretty much tasted the whole menu or rolls as well as the other side of the menu! lol

Seriously, this is the only place that I eat sushi at. They have an all-you-can-eat as well as al la carte which includes everything on the menu. Teriyaki, tempura, and all the sushi you can stuff your face with!!
