I have to say I was excited to try out this place based on the reviews I read here, but now after going there myself I'd have to say I don't agree w/other people's ratings.
I went there for dinner and some drinks.
We had bad service (meaning that the waitress kept ignoring us) and my friend ordered the ceviche tostada and the seafood was bad! They offered her another plate. The drinks are okay but they don't have a big selection out of the regular margaritas and beer. The interior of the restaurant is alright, nothing impressive it's a typical restaurant. I probably wouldn't go there again.
Agree with those who like Tequilas -- convenient, good prices, attentive waitstaff, and enjoy the food -- fajitas are excellent as are the tacos -- better, I think than Acapulco on Sunland, Ernie s in NoHo, and even El Cholo Santa Monica. We ve eaten at Tequilas at least 5 times in the past few months and never were we disappointed!
I recently catered for a birthday party and everyone complimented me on everything I had ordered. Everything was just deliciuos. Trays were for about 20 people each and I ordered about 6 trays of different foods. There was enough food for a party of 30-50. Enchiladas were a hit. Prices are excellent too. I shopped around and no one could beat Tequilas' prices. Thank you. I will surely keep you in mind for my next party.
good food, value: This is a quant place with nice seating, good fajitas, and a nice happy hour margarita. Food is bountifull, tasty and priced right. Easy parking, but lately has been on the decline, happy hr. drinks are kinda weak
