Marmalade Cafe, Thousand Oaks

The food at Marmalade Cafe is very good. The location is good, right in the middle of a big shopping area. The restaurant itself is so crowded that I am surprised it has not been cited for breaking fire codes. The hostess would not let us sit outside, even though the inside of the restaurant was packed. The service was pretty good, although the hostess was surly and scolded a server right in front of us. Overall, however, it is a good place to eat. The prices are relatively reasonable, and the food is worth it.
