Topanga Pizza, Woodland Hills

LOVE TOPANGA PIZZA: Take your family here on a Saturday night and every table is full. The chef at our local Italian place, Topanga Pizza, is outstanding. The service is great and the prices are super reasonable. I order lunch from here all the time. Truly, a neighborhood find. They start you with these wonderful garlic drenched rolls and EVERYTHING on the menu is outstanding.

The people who dislike Topanga Pizza or have had a bad experience should reconsider and give it another try. Mistakes happen. The employees do everything they can to make the customers happy and will continue to do so :)

Awesome mom and pops pizza. Tried it and got addicted. Definitely recommended.

Appetizer of green lipped mussels over-cooked and rubbery, although, white wine and garlic sauce very good. Appetizer of thin crust cheese pizza was a soggy crust. Main entrees of veal parmesan in meat (Bolognese) sauce was heavily breaded, no flavor, sauce was much too much tomato and no discernible meat. Salmon in ginger sauce with fried chives/scallions was good sauce but salmon requested medium was very over-cooked. Waiter was friendly and good family atmosphere. Regular chef/cook was working and meal service was quite slow.

My family and I really love this place. Their pizza is outstanding, and their rolls... Yum...

You can find us there many Saturday afternoons. They have the best veggie sandwiches, garlic rolls and veggie pizza. Their calzones are amazing and fresh, like everything else. You've got plenty to take home. The service is outstanding. It's a place where everyone knows your name, well at least they know our order! Oscar is part of their success. He makes everyone feel like it's home. Everything is wonderful. It's one of a kind wonderful with so much warmth, and lovely, yet comfortable ambiance.

Where I like their pizza this place is much more than a Pizzeria. Their spicy shrimp pasta is to die for and their clam linguini is excellent!!!! This place is more than reasonable, crowded, a bit noisy, exactly what a family Italian restaurant should be.

I would hope that the pizza I got was not how they usually serve them. I believe the dough was pre prepared frozen dough. It crumbled and broke when you picked it up. The toppings were high quality and that was the only thing that made it better than a frozen pizza from the store. I noticed that the other reviews are favorable so maybe the cook was having a bad day. That is to bad because I love pizza and would have been a regular customer.

Since I moved away from Woodland Hills, the thing I miss most is Topanga Pizza. The chefs are first rate and the veal and chicken Marsala are as good or better than any I have tasted at twice the price! I have not found a restaurant as good in Oregon and I miss the friendly service. Great chicken soup!

We've ordered from there a few times; each time, they've forgotten an item or given us a wrong one. The manager is rather rude and unapologetic. The food's decent -- especially for the prices -- but its quality seems to be in decline.
