There food has been a family favorite for years. I highly recommend them to anyone. We usually order a pizza and anitpasta (the best I have ever had) but we have tried and liked their lasagna and spaghetti as well.
Terrible, I had the chicken fettucine alfredo, that was very expensive (at $14.95) to start with, however the real problem was the meal itself. Instead of a thick alfredo sauce, the fettucine was covered with a very thin almost watery sauce and the small pieces of chicken had a very peculiar flavor. Complaining to the server was of little help. I ate a few bites, paid and left. I won't be back.
Chi Chi's is HANDS DOWN the best pizza that I have ever eaten. Their crust and sauce can't be beat.
They also have the best pasta, which they make fresh.
On sundays during football season, I'll call in an order and my wife will drivealmost 50 miles to pick it up. (No she doesn't mind) she loves it as much as I do.
The place isn't fancy, but their fresh pasta is absolutely amazing. Both the spaghetti with meat sauce, or their Rigatoni with Cream Sauce are the best you will find at any restaurant.
The only negative is that they've taken to price gouging. They want an extra $3.50 for alfredo sauce, and extra if you want a caesar instead of a garden salad.
The price issues cause us to go there far less frequently than we'd like. But it's just so good we save it for a special treat.
Ladies and Gentlemen...
Chi Chi's pizza is absolutely the best in all of the Los Angeles Metropolis. I drive from Lakewood all the way to the SF Valley or even to Santa Clarita for their tasty food and delicious pizza. I grew up and lived in New York City where the pizza is totally the best - so I know great tasting pizza! The key to great pizza in NY is from the Catskills' water - and there's nothing like that in LA. Thus... Chi Chi's has a fantastic recipe that somehow overcomes this... making for pizza you'll crave for like no other. I hope a Chi Chi's opens in my area soon! Enjoy!
We drive all the way from Chino Hills, 1 hr. 15 minutes to get Chi Chi's home made pasta. My daughter Danielle's 19th birthday is today & she's loved Chi Chi's since the she was 4, 15 years ago! Hope we don't have to wait too long! We just wish they had an outdoor garden to wait while we watch the guys spin the pizza dough. LOVE Chi Chi's!
when I use to live in california I use to go to chi chi's just about twice a week. their food is the bomb! the pasta is excellent! the salad is always crisp and green and the dressing is nice and thick! ...mmm good! I am missing ChiChi's from the Lone Star State. San Antonio, TX.
