Coming today, Father s Day, to the Odyssey Restaurant supposed to be wonderful; instead of that was quiet disappointed, despite the high price for the brunch buffet, the food was bad, starting for the Asian food the California rolls were made with salmon fresh out the can ( can food..), no poach salmon and other food overbooked or not look fresh. I asked the waiter and he said that there was a new chef trying new foods and the Menu changed. $40.00 and they had hamburgers and hot dogs, really??. It s disappointment because we came at least once a month and with this experience maybe we will have double thoughts.
went for a nice Easter brunch came home very dissapointed. Crouded stood in lobby 25 mins with a resavation. Sat us in a banquet room that reminded me of a gym floor.
The sevice was poor my wife got a omelete asked for a bottle of catsup waiting at least 20 mins to eat her now cold eggs. Food was not up to usaual standards and not restocked promptly.Been here several times before and enjoyed it.
Paid $80 to get upset, Be a long time before you get my dollars again. Thanks Natasa ! a waitress with no personality.
i've only been here once or twice the second time it was for a party of some sort but i love the view i dont really care about the service even though thats all what people look for in restaurants i just care that i get my food and that its good thats it everybody else can brag about the service and how bad its gotten over the years but not me it doesnt matter althought the pond with the coy fish and the view of the valley and the structure of the people is prety awesome high five for that we dont usually use vallet parking thats why we dont care about it but its good to know how its doing so we can never use it.
I spent $85 for two people and it was very disappointing. We ordered appetizer, spinach and some tortilla chips which was around it. The chips was very greasy. I asked the waiter to change it. It took him 20 mins to change some tortillas. He brought the appetizer back 1 min before our food got to the table.
Also, the quality of my food wasn't that good. By the time we were leaving the restaurant we waited 5~10 mins for the valley parking and It was very cold. I finally started looking for him and found him talking on the phone behind a couple of cars.
Bad service, I would never recommend it to anyone
The food is excellent, but the waiter that my father and I had was a stupid airhead. I was there to talk to my father. The place was almost empty, but the waiter just had to put some loud-talking people with
unruly babies right next to us. We spent more than $50.00 just to have the experience ruined by those stupid airheads. (the waiter included) There is no excuse for lousy service, especially at an expensive place like this.
The Odyssey is a nice place to go for a view of the valley. I've been there a couple of different times for business and family dinners. The food is fine. They have a huge buffet on Sundays I think... more food than I could ever eat. I guess I'm just not all that impressed, but I'm sure I'll go back for some function again soon.
nice view. I took my boyfriend there for his birthday ....he was very surprise because the way to get up there is really scary and dark ...but after he get to the top ....the view was just so perfect...We walk in ....It s really romantic...The food was ok ...for what I order....but You pay for the view ...It s worth it ...
Odyssey sits atop a hill in Granada Hills overlooking the city and the mission. The expanse of windows maximizes the number of tables with a view and the atmosphere is elegant, yet friendly.
The food is top notch, their buffets are scrumptious. Highly recommended.
Dinner for 2 will be $40-$60.
Are you kidding? I grew up with this restaurant, I celebrated my wedding there, lasted until 4:am. What is not to love...the views, the food, the people were awesome as well...That pretty much covers it....AWESOME!!!
I give to them a five star rating, without a doubt!
