I called to order for pick up and I couldn t really understand the lady. She said come in we have a buffet I said buffet, oh ok. I get there and there s a young guy at the register, doesn t even bother to greet me, which I thought was really rude!! I advised him I wanted my food to go and points at his menu, so in my mind, I was like ok so I browsed through it and was ready to order and asked for their tiki masala lunch special and that rude f**k says go get your food from buffet! He totally threw me off so I just left. Never again will I visit their place or even try to try their food. I went there because I saw nothing but go reviews but I guess I had to find out myself!!! Horrible place!!!!!! I don t care how good your food is, if you don t show me or make me feel welcome at your business, them Im not the one in the wrong for leaving!
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in the valley, unless I have missed another fantastic hole-in-the-wall somewhere. Come for the lunch buffet and the most delicious Chicken Tikka Masala that I have yet to taste. Everything else is great too, but it's really the Tikka Masala that stands out, and makes it worth the drive out from Ventura County. It's just great, go here for lunch and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Worst indian food! BAD SERVICE. They just dont care about he customers. Everything tastes bad. dont waste money here, there are other places to enjoy real ethenic indian dishes. All those appreicating the food dont know the real tast and flavor for indian dishes. this place is just a rip off............... bad real bad
I was visiting Northridge and my friend told me about this place he always goes to for lunch. So we ate dinner there and it was excellent. The food was great and so was the service. I had the chicken tikka masala and he had lamb curry. Also the garlic na'an is good. I would go there again.
My family and I took advantage of the $6.95 buffet (before 3:00 p.m.), this weekend. We'd never had Indian food before, and we were completely satisfied with Village Tandoor. The male server was extremely polite, let us tour the buffet before dining, and explained the details of the foods. The sauces were delicious, slathered over lamb, chicken, and vegetables. The bread and drinks were unlimited. We were not rushed, and felt very welcome. The decor was very eye-cathing as well! We'll definitely visit Village Tandoor again!
