When you stop for a meal at this Peruvian-Chinese hybrid, you'll be eating in a large room filled with many red leather booths and tables. Be sure to try one of the following menu favorites: The Ceviche Seco de Res (beef cooked in cilantro), the Aji de Gallina (shredded chicken in a flavorful sauce) or the Peruvian-style Chow Mein. Peruvian beer (Cuzqueno), punch, wine, juices and soft drinks are available to enhance your dining experience. Call ahead and see if they will be having special entertainers during the evening when you're planning to visit. Peruvian performers play here quite often.
LOL lets see where do i start...Well Fina Estampa was orginally owned by my parents and the location was in northridge on Tampa. I have some good memories there and of course the food was AWESOME! I used to toast the bread, while my bro and my mom served our clients. The Chef is the owner now and has expanded it to a bigger location on topanga, i believe. I look forward to stopping by and having my favorite...Lomo Saltado..But this time Alfonso will have to make it. :)
The service was absolutely horable. We waited about 30 min. for our tab, until my husband finaly went into the kitchen to get someone, that with only 5 tables with customers. The couple next to us got there food, finished eating and we still didn't have our tab. Over half of out table had already been cleared of dished by an employee, the hostess was busy doing nothing, the waitress dissapeared. The restaurant had been there for many year before we went, that would be the 1st and last time ever. The food was nothing exciting, especially when we saw someone getting there with Costco bags of salad and rolls. Never Again.
While its not completely authentic Peruvian, its really an amazing place to go. We got wonderful service, and the food was delicious. If you go, get the purple corn punch, its sooooooooooo good. The only thing you need to watch out for is the desserts. Before you order something, go up to the front of the restaurant and take a look in the case at it. The descriptions on one or two of them are a bit deceiving.
The food was good, however the service was HORRIBLE!!!!! There were five people in our party and only three of us got our food. The other two had to ask for the waitress to put it in box since everyone else had finished eating. We reminded her about the food and beverages still remaining many times but to our surprise the food never came. The prices are too high to eat out of a box! Again the food was good but I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone!
The service was horrible. We waited a long time for our food and drinks. Once the food arrived, it was cold, tasted badly and after a few bites, I found a hair! Oh and it was completely overpriced. Do not go there unless you want some hair with your food.
While primarily a natural foods restaurant, it does have a separate area where you can just come in and buy
groceries. These, of course, consist of delicious home baked breads, healthy and delicious pastries, desserts and salad dressings. The ...
