Love their BBQ and the waiters and waitresses are the best around. I recommend sharing the Garbage Can Combo ;)

From the outside it looks like a stuffy cafe, but inside, it's a kooky BBQ shack great for families with young children. The food is so plentiful (wear your stretchy pants) and so delicious! Love the tri-tip! The ribs are tender and messy as they should be and with four different sauces, you can't go wrong. Order dessert - you won't regret it. The fruit cobblers are my favorite. The service is the best I've had in a long while - very attentive, helpful and patient - they take care of you. If you love BBQ like I do, you'll love Robin's. I've been there for late lunch when there isn't too much of a crowd yet.

The BBQ baby back ribs is by far the best in Pasadena (about 10x better than the stuff they serve at Houstons). The only problem with Robins is the service. The last time I was there it was better than average. The couple of times before then, it was very poor.

The food was the best, service was top notch. We sat down right away. The food was out as soon as we ordered. The Ribs were so big, there was no way we could finish them, Sauces were out of this world. Don't waste your time on the other BBQ places try this today.

ordered the baby backs: good meat, well done, but drenched in bbq sauce. too much for my taste. will skip beef ribs altogether. sauce on side from now on. service was good: waiter polite. got there right before noon. chicken wings: well cooked. meaty. too much sauce though. next time: sauce on the side. written on oct. 26, 06. note: way better than that disgusting smokin jacks in burbank--that was dog poop on a platter.
