Porto's Bakery, Glendale

best place to eat meat and potato balls, sounds funny right? but delicius.

I always love this place, great food, great attention. So popular that you might not get a lunch table right away,

Our group of 15 had breakfast at the bakery on June 4,2011. We had a problem with one of the orders. We paid for a turkey croissant with other items but never received the turkey croissant. 3 staff came to our table to hear our explanation but did not deliver the croissant. They asked for the receipt that my son threw away in the trashcan. I did not understand why they would argue with a customer over a croissant. The norm is staff delivers food and retrieves the order number, but we had the order number 84 on our table all this time!

We visit this spot at least once a week and love it.. Great food, atmosphere and prices... We order all of our cakes from here for any special occasion... Warning do not visit if you are trying to lose weight!!!

This place was way too crowded. Line was very long. Almost not worth the wait. Be prepared. The food was good, although the pastrami sandwhiches we ordered were not as good as before (we've been to Portos many times in the past). Maybe the staff is being overwhelmed by the crowd and quality is slipping - i don't know, but we do know that we've had enough of Portos for a while

I have to say this: What a bunch of liers those who are saying that the stuff (employees) don't aknowledge you when you come to Portos. First you have to get in line, once you reach the counter, there's always a person that will take your order no matter what. How can they ignore you? They have dozens of employees and all of them work as hard and quickly as they can. I've been there hundreds of times and I don't have one complaint about the employees. In my opinion, I think they're wonderful and they are always ver helpful, very fast and very nice. Too bad thay you are not going to have your stuffed potatoes enymore... I'm sorry for you drama queen...or should I say DRAMA BOY?
