Maria's Italian Kitchen, Agoura Hills

A decent, family-friendly Italian place. You can find most traditional Italian dishes and its a casual atmosphere. The prices are a bit high, but not too bad. We had a pizza, spaghetti, and chopped salad for $40. Certainly more than we'd pay at Pizza Hut, and the atmosphere is not too dissimilar. The pizza biancha is amazing! The fresh spinach was so good. The service was OK, but not great. We'll definitely be back.

We visited Maria's a few weeks ago. It's a cozy little restuarant with great service. The menu's variety was amazing, also plenty for vegetarians to eat. Prices were a little steep for lunch, but after eating we decided it was well worth it! Excellent authentic Italian fare.

Well, let's talk about delivery for a second. The delivery was prompt, but the $42 price tag (including tip) was a bit steep for what we got. We ordered a spinach calzone and a sausage and peppers hero. We asked for extra sauce for the calzone and the hero was supposed to come with pasta salad, but it was nowhere to be found. If that was Italian food, I am Luciano Pavaratti. The sausage and peppers were mediocre at best, and had the consistency of oatmeal in a thin casing. There was little spinach in the calzone, and my girlfriend threw most of it away (which she has NEVER done with a calzone before). I am sure the restaurant is nice and all, but the delivered food was absolutely substandard.

Maria's has great Italian food, considering it's part of a chain. It has the ambience of a small, authentic Italian restaurant like they have back East. I love their chopped green salad.

I went to Marias Italian Kitchen in Calabasas and I cant believe anyone would give this place a great review. I got a large 3 topping Pizza and the portions were very generous and overall alot of food for my money. However, the quality of the ingridients was very poor making the pizza about as good as the pizza you buy at Costco. I dont know if these people are trying to cut corners or what but making a pizza out of stuff you buy at Smart and Finals just isnt real italian. From the crust, to the sauce, to the cheese everything seemed really low end.
