This place is filthy. Couldn t believe the dust in the air and on the tables. Just be warned, this is a bar that happens to have some lousy mexican food . If you want to get drunk and slobber over the tramps that hang out there then this is your place.
I was not impressed with the restaurant. I spent $35 dollars on drinks, which I didn't mind. I got mad when the bartender tacked on another $40 in drinks that I never ordered. Arguing with him, he took off all the drinks that I did not order. But he still swiped my card twice so now I have over $100 pending on my account.
The bathrooms were disgusting. The wait staff was far below par if not non existent. It was my first and only time I will ever go there.
I have been a customer here for years. I have dumped a lot of money there and brought them a lot of buisness as well. I have always been happy until this last experience this last sunday. I was told I wasn't allowed in with a tank top. Mind you that the majority of the crowd was all bikers and you can only imagine how bikers dress. They were nice enough to give me an xxl shirt that I was able to wear as a dress. When I pay my entrance fee to get inside I then notice that half of the people in there are wearing tank tops and t-shirts with the sleeves cut off. I then take may shirt off. The securtity gaurd then tells me that I need to put the shirt back on. When I ask him why I am being singled out he tells me because my tank top is a wife beater and those are no longer excepted even though I have been wearing these shirts there for years. So then I tear the sleeves off the shirt they give me and put it back on. They then ask me to leave because they say I look rediculous now. Apparently they don't like the way there tshirts look sleeve less. So not only was I escorted out like a criminal I couldn't either finish my $20 margarita nor get my money back. Then when I went to leave my bike was blocked in and the valet told me that I couldn't leave until the people parked behind me decided to leave even though we all pay to park there. So to recap, I couldn't stay nor could I go. So If you like tough rules and security gaurds on a power trip then this is the place for you. Everyone knows that you don't go to this place for the food considering there chefs lack any decent pallet. Apparently this is all thanks to some new European Owners that have no clue what California is all about. In case you guys are reading this. Cali is about our beautiful hot sun. After a long week we want to kick back, listen to good music and pick up on some hot woman. Don't be afraid of a man in a tank top drinking a margarita. That man may have a lot of money and appreciate spending in a nice atmosphere. Thanks for robbing me of what was once a beautiful Sunday Spot.
Had dinner there on Sunday night and was not impressed, the sagebrush has become a place to be trendy and hang and be seen, the food was nothing special (if you want good Mexican go to Sierra's), atmosphere (ate outside) was good except for the Weekend Bikers that when they left had to rev the snot out of there bikes for there short ride home. Service was at times slow and they forgot the re-order. Place has forgotten just how good they used to be. Next time I am back in the valley I will be advoiding here.
sagebrush sucks. the food isnt bad but the entire restaurant's existence is for some reason obnoxious. it pretends that its a mexican place but if so its not actually a mexican place, which is confusing. all and all, don't come here if you have dignity.
The food was very mediocre and the service was slow as well, but mainly we had a probably with a misunderstanding about a charge for a food item we ordered. We asked our server if they could split one fajita half chicken and half steak. Our server said they could, but when we received our bill we were charged an extra fee for this split. We asked our server to explain the extra fee and from her explanation it was clear that there was a misunderstanding between us. We asked her to show us the menu to try and clear up the misunderstanding. There was no half chicken half steak fajita on the menu. We then asked to speak with a manager when it was clear she wasn't going to reverse the extra fee. The manager proceeded to argue with us that this was a very common order and that most people just accepted the extra fee. Now I've worked in my share of restaurants and usually when there's a minor misunderstanding between the restaurant and the customer the customer is usually given the benefit of the doubt. It's called good customer service. The server never mentioned an extra fee and if she didn't understand what we were ordering she should've asked us to clarify. We will never recommend or go to this restaurant again.
