Great place. I used to have udon here once a week when I worked in the area. The tempura udon is particularly good. Get the Tokyo-style broth; it's a little heartier than the Osaka-style. The ramen is also quite good.
I have lunch here a couple of times per week, and will continue to do so until they close their doors. It's not super fast food, so give yourself an hour. The waitress is curt, but don't take it personally. The prices are the same for lunch and dinner, so it's a bargain for dinner. My fav: A magma-hot (that's the only way) nabeyaki udon with the dark broth. Also like the tanin don when I want a rice dish.
We used to eat here a lot when we were back in LA, their Ramen is really good. You can choose different broth and noodles, service is good too. Its really cheap for $7.00 lunch or dinner you will definitely be full.
